After our first day in Valdivia at the Fishmarket & the Brewery, the next day we were hoping for a bit of better weather, but that wasn’t meant to be. We decided to make the best of another rainy day and hit up the Karl Anwandter House Museum {no photography allowed} followed by a boat ride along the Calle-Calle river to a little town called Punucapa – which is a little village in the River Region of Chile that is inhabited by only 75 people. The town is really small {and isolated} but is home to a school, a police station & a hospital, which are all really cute. Our group sampled some of the local eats {Sopaipilla’s} and drinks {alocholic cider} which made the day trip even more fun.
Here are some photos from our second day in Valdivia, Chile:
Side Note: I was obsessed with the massive Sea Lions at the Fish Market.
Stay tuned for the second part of our journey – a trip to the mountains!

What a quaint place – beautiful photos – thanks for sharing!
The doggie sleeping in the tire…! Gah! What a beautiful photo! It has so much emotion behind it that I’m not even sure how it makes me feel. Seriously… that could be in a gallery somewhere. Great eye!
