I have been obsessed with planks lately! If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you know that I have been participating in the #plankaday #plankchallenge – I just can’t get enough! I am not sure if it’s the urge to want to beat my time to see how long I can hold it or the fact that it hurts so good once I fall to the mat.
My plank PR hung out in the 2:30’s for a while but yesterday I crossed over into the 2:40 mark. I am pretty pumped about that. My goal is to get into the 3 minute mark sometime this week! I have been doing some research on planks and the word on the {cyberspace} street is they work your core – and many more muscle groups than crunches!
You can bet your bottom dollar I will be continuing to get my #plankaday on for the next few weeks, since I need to be bikini ready for our trip!

Your form looks awesome – I like to do planks too because they are suppose to be soooo good for your tummy (helping it get flat). I definitely need more planks in my life!
