Last night we went out to our favorite spot on a Friday night in Virginia.
The Auld Shebeen
Anytime I come home to Virginia its always fun to go out with my family for some good food, fabulous beers & great tunes.
Seriously, I love a good guinness.
My mom tested out The Auld Shebeen’s latest signature drink – Catch Me If You Can – I had a sip & it was very tasty! 
Irish soda bread makes me happy.
This was Charles’ first time at The Auld Shebeen so we had to get some Traditional Irish favorites to enjoy for dinner.
He went with the Fish & Chips and loved them. They come with fries & onion rings – yum!
I got the St. James Gate Guinness Beef Stew {just like last time, its my favorite!}
It did not disappoint.
What’s not to love about slow cooked beef & carrots served over mashed potatoes and {pretty much} gravy. I ate up the veggies & beef and left most of the rest – so filling but SO good!

And check out my outfit! I busted out my latest stitch fix purchase for the evening out.
I am sort of obsessed with the dots. 
While we enjoyed our food, drinks & lots of laughs the irish tunes filled the restaurant.
Pretty much a perfect Friday evening, if you ask me!
