A Very Merry NJ/VA Christmas

Yesterday was one of the Merriest Christmases I’ve ever had! I hope you had just as much fun as I did celebrating with friends & family. It was a wonderful day to celebrate!

We started the merriment in New Jersey

We woke up early on Christmas morning & started the day off with a road trip from NJ to VA.

Santa knew I had been a very good girl this year & he brought me lots of lovely gifts.

Charles enjoyed lots of great presents as well, but I think his favorite was the remote control helicopter I got him!

A boy & his toys, what can I say?!

After all the gifts were open & some hot spiked cider was enjoyed it was time to sit down for my mom’s famous Christmas Dinner. It was as delicious as ever, I can’t wait to eat leftovers!

The day ended with a final showing of A Christmas Story on TBS & a few pictures by the tree.

I am so grateful we live within driving distance to both our families. Being able to spend the holidays with our NJ & VA families is such a blessing. I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Off to enjoy the snow & spend some more time with the family!

I hope your holidays were as lovely as mine – Merry Merry!

You are so fortunate to have 2 families that love the 3 of you very much. And they live within driving distance of each other, so you can celebrate with both of them. BTW which is Jackson’s favorite Grandmom?

Yes, I am so grateful that you live within a reasonable distance to celebrate the holidays with both families – I would certainly miss you, Charles and Jackson terribly!
