Lemon Hill Food & Drink

Last week Charles & I hit up a new spot in our new neighborhood – Lemon Hill Food & Drink

We had impeccable timing for our visit as we were just in time for Happy Hour!

I was impressed with the classic cocktail menu as well as the decor.

In the spirit of cocktail hour I enjoyed the drink of choice for the evening – a Hanky Panky!

This gin inspired drink had a splash of Fernet Branca as well as an orange peel. It was tasty!

I was in the mood for something salty so I tested out the House Pickles.

Bread and Butter, Green Tomatoes, Ramps, Okra, Rye Toasts – it was a very tasty!

Charles & I also split the Classic Patty Melt – La Frieda Blend, Grilled Onions, House Pickles, American Cheese, Secret Sauce with a side of  Russet Fries. It was one of the absolute best sandwiches I have had in a long time. I will definitely be coming back for another one of these!

We managed to get into the restaurant right before happy hour without a wait and in the blink of an eye the restaurant was completely packed.

We will definitely be coming back here again soon – to enjoy the tasty food and to try out another classic cocktail (or two!)

Do you have a favorite neighborhood bar?

Well, another fun place you two have found and I need to explore! I loved the name of your drink – very retro!
