I love a good long weekend. There is nothing better than enjoying the last few days of summer on a beach – with the salty breeze blowing through the air, the sand between your toes and the rays of sunshine warming your soul. Sadly, Labor Day weekend marks the end of the summer season – but what a fabulous one it has been!

I’m looking forward to cooler weather. 80 days this summer with over 100* temps. Not fun. Bring on jacket season!!

Ack, hooray Jackson! He looks like he is having so much fun. I want to take Bowser to the beach so badly, but I’m thinking he wouldn’t like it, mostly because he hates sand. One day I’ll take him, though!
