Happy Birthday to ME!
I can’t believe another year has flown by – this one specifically went by at lightning speed because of all the wedding and honeymoon fun I have been having the past few months!
When Charles asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday this weekend, there was only ONE THING on my mind!
I have been CRAVING a Cake Shake since before the wedding. A Cake Shake was not in the Operation Hot Bride handbook, but since OHB was a huge success, I figured a Cake Shake on my Birthday was necessary!
It was a beautiful day for an outing in Philadelphia!
I was pumped for my burger, fries & shake – a meal fit for the birthday girl!
In Other News: Check out my new shirt, I am slightly obsessed with the back of it! (Thanks Mom!)
After a short wait it was cake shake time!

And in other Other news: Jackson is home!
He was staying with my parents in Virginia since before my Bachelorette Party because we had so much going on with the wedding and the honeymoon.
We missed him so much when he was gone and are so very happy to have Jackson back at home!
All my cake shake and Jackson fun was yesterday – today, my actual birthday, we started off the day with some mimosas and Finding Nemo. I can’t think of a more perfect way to start my 27th year!
That and a side of Jackson – snug as a bug in a rug!
I started off the day with my first WIFE birthday card! Charles says he is excited because he has a whole new card section to shop in now!
Cards, balloons and roses! Love it!
I also got a few birthday gifts too! My wonderful parents got me a new lens before we left on our honeymoon for my birthday! I took some awesome pictures during our trip with it! My sweet brother got me a massage gift certificate with my new favorite masseuse!
And my fabulous new husband got me an awesome gift too – a Kindle!
I sort of fell in love with Charles’ Kindle on our trip – he read his all the time, all over the place and I was totally jealous! So instead of him having to worry about me stealing his all the time now, he got me my own!
I love it already and can’t wait to read some books on it – any suggestions?

We have enjoyed a relaxing weekend after a crazy past 3 weeks, so it has been nice to stay at home and unwind!
I am off to enjoy the rest of my birthday – and get my Kindle on!

I can’t believe that my baby girl is 27 years old! Boy, how the years have flown by for both of us! You have lots of exciting years ahead for you and your new hubby! Enjoy each day!
