You know I love to share with you my weekly produce purchases at Reading Terminal Market! This week I tried a new booth out to check out some other options for my weekly buys!
There are so many produce booths to choose from, so I am going to have to check them all out at some point!
I love taking pictures of fruits and vegetables. They are so photogenic! These carrots were freakin’ gorgeous!
And THESE carrots were massively HUGE!
Sugar cane and aloe were two things I hadn’t seen before at RTM.
Fiancé was having a ball with all the awesome produce at amazing prices…ok, not really! But at least he held the basket! 🙂
And I hit the GRAND PRIZE today because on top of the super crazy low prices at RTM I got a 10% extra discount with my student id.
At the market for produce this week I spent a grand total of: $6.17
Here is my loot:
Since you all know how much I love sprouts, so I got a bagful of those, and a shallot and some grapes.
A bagful of peppers and green beans
A bag of onions, 3 massive zucchini’s and a cauliflower
I can’t wait to cook up some awesome eats this week with all this awesome stuff! Any recipe suggestions for me based on my purchases?

Oh how I wish you had gotten some broccoli too! I have the best Broccoli and Cauliflower Soup Recipe!
Ok, that is MUCh cheaper than I would have paid at the farm in Plymouth Meeting. I need to learn your shopping tips! 🙂
I have a confession – I have yet to go to RTM – in all the years I've been to Philly, I've meant to go but never had the time.
love the produce pics
Reading Terminal Market is so wonderful for produce. I go in each time I'm in Philly and wish I could take it home with me.
Wow, you did get an awesome deal! Wish we had something similar here! Great pics 🙂
Wish there was a RTM in Virginia! I still can't believe the prices and what you actually got for those prices each time you go. Way to save $. Fiance has to love that!!
