***This post is Jackson heavy due to his birthday today!***
Jackson got a fun piece of mail today in honor of his big birthday!
My parents sent Jackson a cute little SpongeBob card!
He obviously loved the card. Jackson just got back from spending 10 days in Virginia with my parents 2 weeks ago while Fiancé and I were away, so they were definitely missing him!
In honor of Jackson’s birthday I promised him a long walk and a trip to a new (to me) puppy store near our apartment.
Wag N’ Style has been around for a year but this was my first trip in. It was really cute and had lots of fun little treats. The owner of the store had pictures up of his dog everywhere, I thought she kind of looked a little bit like Jackson too!
I want to own a store where I can spray paint a picture of Jackson and his name on the wall! How cool would that be?
Wag N’ Style had lots of cute things. I am sort of obsessed with these glass bowls. They were displayed as dog bowls, but I kind of want to get one for myself and eat oatmeal out of it, or put something pretty in it! They are so cute (and locally made!)
Cute puppy clothes too!
I took Jackson around the whole store and let him sniff everything to pick out what he wanted. I held a bunch of stuff in front of him and if he licked it or went to grab it, we got it, its not, we left it!
He was prince of the store for today!
Have you ever seen Dog and Cat “Wine”? This stuff was silly.
My Jersey Boys love their Phils.
Jackson was pooped after his long walk.
We had a fun time walking around the store and picking out some treats for him to enjoy.
Jackson was a good little boy and picked out all natural dog treats today.
He had a hard time deciding which treat he was going to enjoy first. I let him have first pick and now we are saving the rest for later!
Jackson spent the rest of the afternoon crunching his little heart out while I got caught up on emails and did some wedding work!
I think he enjoyed his birthday with a little extra attention (like he already doesn’t get enough!)
If you are a pet owner, what do you do to celebrate your pet’s birthday? Do you do anything special for your pet?
Let me know your stories!

Since we adopted, we celebrate their "gotcha" days! (January 2nd, July 17th, and October 10th, respectively!)
looks like jackson had a birthday set for a king. what a lucky man! i love the festivities.
What a spoiled little boy! Happy Birthday to Jackson! (Miles is 4 too, but his birthday is in March.)
We celebrate 'Adoption Day' with our doggies. They get a fun treat from Bone Apetit in Chestnut Hill and usually a toy and a new collar. 🙂 We always try to celebrate with an extra long walk in a fun place too.
We do the same thing with taking our little one to the pet store and letting her pick out a special toy or treat for her birthday. Then she gets a homemade carrot peanut butter cake.
Yeah, Jackson had a fun day! Lots of healthy treats too! He sure is a handsome, little boy in my eyes! Love you Jackson…
