What a crazy week it has been! I spent all last week packing and organizing and cleaning the old apartment. We spent all weekend moving from one apartment to the next and on Saturday and Sunday we were pretty much living among boxes!
It got a little crazy, but after spending some time going through everything, all our things began to find a place in our new apartment.
Jackson hung out on this pillow which is stuffed in a dresser drawer most of the weekend. He tried to stay out of the way. I appreciated that…he always makes me laugh with the little things that he does like this. Haha. I wonder what goes through his little head.
We have minimized the stray boxes throughout the apartment and have isolated them to one area of the apartment. Now there is only small stuff left that we have to find homes for.
Sometimes the smaller things are the most annoying to move out of the way! Fiancé and I have been doing a little bit each night and are making good progress. Tonight I think we are going to hang up pictures! Pictures in nice frames totally complete a home!
Jackson has been very much enjoying his new space. I will give a full photo tour when everything is set up. We are expecting a delivery this weekend to finalize the apartment and then I will give the blog world our official tour!
The move was really fun last week because I had my friends help me out! Kate came over on Thursday and spent a few hours helping me move and organize. It was awesome to have her come help and it didn’t feel much like work while we were chatting away! Thanks Kate!
Another awesome part of the weekend was that BFF Michele came up to visit! She was coaching at a lacrosse tournament in the area and decided to come up and play (and pack) with me!
We did some work packing and then we headed out to have some fun together too. Since Michele is my Maid of Honor she wanted to see the inside of our church for the wedding. I could pretty much go visit the church every day because it’s so pretty, so I was happy to take her over to show off where fiancé and I will wed!
Going to visit here always makes me so happy!
After frolicking around the Main Line, BFF Michele and I headed into Center City Philadelphia to hit up Reading Terminal Market.
Michele had never been here before and was excited to check out all that the market had to offer.
When we got there we were hungry, so we decided to check out some crepes for lunch!
It was stuffed with all sorts of vegetables and feta cheese. It was warm and delicious!
After filling out bellies we walked around the market and had an awesome time checking everything out.
About halfway through our visit I was crazing something sweet. Luckily, Reading Terminal Market has lots of options for my sweet tooth! This cookie had chocolate chips, macadamia nuts and cranberries! It was amazing.
It was so much fun spending the weekend with Michele. We had a great time and I really appreciated all her help with the apartment. She was with us all weekend helping us pack, clean and unpack! She’s a super friend!

Glad you had a good weekend with Michele. She just married my cousin, Eric. While she was with you, I got to see him!
You and Michele look so happy! I know you had a wonderful weekend visiting and all! That Jacksi boy looked pretty comfortable too! Can't wait to see the NEW apartment on Saturday…
Hi,
I left two comments (the first 2) for the Solixir giveaway, but also noticed that another Kelly left 2 comments. I wasn't sure if this was me who won, or if another one of us Kelly's won. I was just curious.
Oh, and I entered the give away under my name, Kelly. Not under my blog name.
