It has been quite the busy day of travelling today! I went from picking up Ashley in Philadelphia early this morning, to picking up our race packets for tomorrow in Georgetown, to handling some wedding business, to picking up Meghann at the airport, to finally sitting down to enjoy a nice dinner!
After all the craziness of today it was nice to sit back and enjoy a nice meal and catch up with my blog friends. I had met Meghann at the Disney Princess Meet-Up in Orlando, but today was my first time meeting Ashley. It was fun to spend the day with these ladies!
Obviously with everyone being a food blogger, I had to take my guests somewhere worthy. I decided to take everyone to Cee Fine Thai Dining in Fairfax, VA. The last time I went there with my parents, it was so yummy!
We decided to split an appetizer and get two entrees and it was the perfect amount of food!
We started out with the Cee Soft Roll – Soft wrapped with rice noodle, stuffed with cooked Chinese sausage, egg, cucumber, bean sprout and crabmeat served with tamarin sauce.
It was pretty delish.
Food blogger Ashley in action.
Next up we enjoyed the Curry Vegetables in a green sauce which had bamboo shoots, basil leaves and chili pepper.
Not the prettiest meal to snap pictures of, but it was yummy! This bad boy was pretty spicy!
We also enjoyed the Pad Thai Shrimp – Sautéed Thai noodles with shrimp, bean sprout, hard bean curd and roasted ground peanut.
I love bean sprouts. This dish was just as good as the other two. Cee’s never disappoints!
I snapped a picture of Meghann in all her food blogger glory. I love dining out with other bloggers, it’s so much fun when there are other cameras snapping away taking pictures of the food!
I had a little bit of everything along with a side of jasmine rice.
Ashley, Meghann and I enjoyed our date. It’s always fun to spend time with blogger friends you don’t get to see very often!
We cleaned our plates – it was a fantastic dinner!
Now we are all blogging in bed. Jackson has joined us as well to keep us company while we upload our pictures and write our posts. He is pretty pumped to be a part of the blogging community!
And yes, I am rockin’ an old school N*SYNC shirt. Be jealous! Any other boy band fans out there?? I know you are out there!
We will be up tomorrow morning bright and early ready to get our North Face Endurance Marathon Relay on! Stay tuned for a breakfast recap before we head out to brave the heat at Great Falls Park!
