Sweaty Bands Giveaway

I love a good headband.

Let me be more specific – I love a good, fun, colorful, comfortable, cute headband.

Even more specifically – I love Sweaty Bands. tasteofnation 092

The wonderful people at Sweaty Bands sent me a few of their fabulous headbands to try out for myself, and let me just tell you, they are pretty amazing.

They are thick, don’t slip and feel great on my head.  tasteofnation 093

There are thick bands, thin bands, metallic bands, solid bands, bands in team colors, bands for kids and lots more! There are so many to choose from it’s hard to pick a favorite!

I really enjoy these bands. They are fun and fit fabulously.

(PS – Check out my EYE in this picture! Crazy, right??)

Here are two of the thin bands – This is Racing Stripes

And this is Skinny Scroll Down your Playlist – Navy & Turquoise      tasteofnation 102

Here are two of the thick band options – Chakra Dots

and Check Me Out – Pink  & Green

I have worn these bands out Walking Jackson on Kelly Drive, during some of my longer runs and just out and about!

I am not exactly sure what the back is made of, but its soft and really keeps the headband in place. Works great!

I would like to win a sweaty band for spin class. I've tried all types of head bands to keep my hair out of my face during spin. None of them seem to work either.

I just got a shorter haircut so I have been looking for something to hold my hair back during workouts. I love the wider bands (the dots are my fave).

    I am a follower and a facebook follower. 🙂

I am skeptical that any band can stay on my head. I have yet to find one that doesn't slide off my head while running and teaching spin class. I'd love to try a Sweaty Band. They look REALLY cool!

I would love to try one because I cannot find a good headband that will stay on my thick hair while I work out and actually hold it back

I'd love to try one! I had a Bondi Band that I won at a race and the first time I wore it running it fell off never to be seen again, so it'd be great to find a band that stays in place. I really like the Skinny Scroll Down your Playlist – Navy & Turquoise. Cute!!

I sweat so much and have so much hair that sweaty bands would be so much cuter and more durable than my "pre wrap" I use! hah

I am always wearing a headband whether I am working out or not. So that means that I have been using a plastic headband when I workout and it stinks. I would love to get the chalkra dot thick head band for when I work out!! 🙂

I love Sweaty Bands! My sister gave me one for my birthday a couple months ago, & I wear it all the time. It's navy with pink polka dots & super cute. I've been wanting to buy some more especially now after seeing the zebra stripe one.

I would love to try a Sweaty Band. I'm growing out my hair and need something to keep it off my face when I work out. I have a few different bands, but they all slip. These look like a great option…and so cute!

I want to try a sweaty band! I want to try them because I am just getting into running (ran my first 5K on Sunday!) and I would love to try a new headband that can hold onto my thick curly mane! I don't know how to choose my favorite…there's so many good ones! I think the racing stripes stood out to me the most but I also love some color!
I am new to the blog world as something other than a reader, but I already have you in my blogroll and am following you on twitter! I will tweet about this too!! 🙂

Super cute! I bought some Goody headbands recently and they do not stay on my head, I'd love to try some that do.

  • Reply Rachel June 29, 2010 at 9:22 am

I love the racing stripes sweaty band. Yesterday I actually forgot a head band at spin and my layers kept flying into my face – so annoying.

  • Reply amanda June 29, 2010 at 9:28 am

oh my! they are super cute. they'd be easy to make as well. i loveeee the polka-dot one. i think they'd be perfect for a hot, sweaty run!

  • Reply Evelyn @ cheers2healthy June 29, 2010 at 10:15 am

I've never tried a sweat band but I've always wanted one! I like the pink & green one the best 😀

  • Reply Kelly June 29, 2010 at 11:17 am

Ugh I need one of these! I usually try to use prewrap but that slides off my head in minutes. I like the Skinny Scroll down your play list turquoise one.

  • Reply scargosun June 29, 2010 at 12:51 pm

LOVE Those! I am tired of the Goody ones. Those are much cuter. I think I like the thicker ones so that my med/short whispies can be held back but I think that turquoise one you had on is my fave design. Tough to choose!

I already follow you so can I get another entry? 🙂

  • Reply Jacqui June 29, 2010 at 2:00 pm

I would love to try these. I have not found a band that looks good and stays in place yet. I normally get a weird bump in my head. I love the Don't Box me in Band and the Flip Flops.

Have you in my google reader, am a Facebook and Twitter Follower, and just tweeted!

  • Reply Angie Bishop June 29, 2010 at 2:22 pm

I have very unruly thick hair and am not a fan of other headbands out there. They just cant contain my hair. I love the Blue playlist band and the zebra one is cute too. Not much of a pink kind of girl.

I need one of those–the slightest bit of humidity and I get those curls that don't fit into a ponytail but also aren't long enough to tuck behind your ears. Annoying to deal with during workouts.

I also follow you on facebook and twitter (kam62284).

They do not move…all day and are so comfy, I actually slept with one on and no morning headache from too much pressure! plus have you seen my thick head of hair???
