Walking Jackson

Today is one of those glorious days that I rarely get to enjoy. Fiancé and I had NO PLANS!

With a schedule as crazy as mine, sometimes the best days are when you get to sleep in, roll out of bed, hang out in the morning and have absolutely nothing to do. It’s the best!

After waking up slow and hanging out for a bit, we decided to take advantage of this awesome weather and head to one of my favorite places in Philly – Kelly Drive!

It’s one thing to bike or run on Kelly Drive, but its something completely different to walk it. There is so much going on there all the time. So many people, so much to see! It’s nice to walk Jackson on Kelly and just hang out.

We walked about a mile down to Strawberry Mansion Bridge, where a Regatta was going on. I wanted to get Jackson to jump on a rock for some pretty pictures, but he was looking at me like I was nuts!

Eventually I got him up there and we took some pictures.

Luckily, Jackson felt like smiling for the camera today!

I also got some cute pictures of my Jersey boys!

I call them my Jersey boys because both fiancé and Jackson are from New Jersey! They enjoyed hanging out on the rock and watching the people go by.

We watched some of the races for a bit. There were so many people out cheering! Kelly Drive was bumping!

Jackson liked taking a break too. 1 mile out and another mile back is a lot for a little 12 pound puppy!

After a while, he was pooped!

Then it was time to head back.

Another beautiful day in Philadelphia on Kelly Drive. I love this weather. Its not too hot, with a bit of a breeze. It’s perfection.

    

Off to take on the rest of my unplanned day! I need to schedule more ‘No Plans’ days like today more often!
