Last night, fiancé and I hit up Citizen’s Bank Park for a Phillies game with his family. I always love going downtown to the games, they are always so much fun!
It was the first time Fiancé got to wear his Birthday present, so I know he was pretty excited about that!
I have a serious love for the Philly Phanatic. I am pretty sure he is the best mascot out there. He cracks me up when he does his belly dance…get’s me laughing every time!
What’s your favorite team mascot?
We ended up being a little late for the game so we grabbed a beer and quickly found our seats. I love having a beer down at the ballpark. It doesn’t get much better than that.
To make a good evening even better, we found out that it was Dollar Dog Night at the stadium! People buy tickets to these games just to sit there and stuff themselves with hot dogs all night! There is a maximum of 4 hot dogs per transaction because people get so many of them! Crazy, right?

To add to my delight, not soon after we got there the Philly Phanatic made an appearance right above the Phillies dugout.
He’s such a great character. Have I told you lately, that I love him?!
Then it was time to sit back, relax and enjoy the game.

After a while of watching the game, some kid decided to make the night a little more interesting. He jumped onto the field and ran around waving a towel. He put up a good fight, but then got tasered by security. You can check out some funny video of that here.
Apparently he is only 17. He got hit with the taser and fell straight to the ground. I didn’t think it was necessary of them to do that to him, but at least he is ok now!
The Phillies lost, but it was still a beautiful night at the ballpark!

Love Dollar dog night..The Mariners have $8.00 dogs but they are soooo good. This is why I need to do extra cardio this week dogs,beer and more beer(Mariners).

i was there monday night, too. dollar dog nights rock. too bad they lost…and that knucklehead ran onto the field. even though it was pretty silly.
