Boston Blogger Bash

When I posted that I was going to be in Boston for the next few days I knew I wanted to meet up with some of my favorite Boston bloggers. I never expected that I would be able to meet them all at once!

I was invited to the HealthWorks Blogger Bash by Meghan and I couldn’t have been more excited to go. I knew that about 20 other Boston bloggers would be there – I was so pumped to meet everyone!

The group met for a spinning class earlier in the day, but I just met everyone for the cocktail party. I knew I was in the right place when I saw a group of girls with Siggi’s bags taking pictures of everything!

The party was held at The Liberty Hotel – which used to be an old Prison. It had an awesome look about it inside. It was a great spot!

The cocktails were provided by RIPE and DoubleCross Vodka and they did not disappoint! The first drink I had was a strawberry-basil concoction – and it was amazing.

Then I switched it up to a raspberry Chambord cocktail. The strawberry basil was my favorite.

I had such an amazing time meeting these bloggers! Meghan was awesome. I had a great time chatting with her and I was so happy she invited me to come to the event!

I was also excited that my blog friend Joy was able to come to the event too. We had a great time talking about how much we love our puppies! (Jackson – if you are reading this – We Miss You! )

There were so many people that showed up for the event. It was a great turnout and everyone looked like they had a great time!

The food was amazing as well. I tried a piece (or two!) of the bufala ricotta, fontina & smashed green asparagus. It was YUM!

I was also super excited when I learned that Tina was going to be there. I believe hers was the first healthy living blog I ever read. This was before I had my own blog! I pretty much added everyone on her blog roll to my Google reader, and the rest is history!

Tina was so sweet, I was so excited we got to chat for a bit!

I also had a great time talking with Ali about our upcoming weddings!

I also found my roommate for HLS in August – Melissa!

It was so great to meet everyone! I had a blast talking with all the different bloggers – everyone was so sweet & fun! We were all there for over 2.5 hours! It was an awesome evening, I’m so happy I got to go! Thanks HealthWorks for holding a great event!

Joy was so sweet and brought me a present! She made a framed collage of pictures of Jackson. How sweet is that?

Sorry for the glared picture. Hotel bathrooms aren’t the best places for beautiful pictures! I have the frame sitting next to the bed. I miss Jackson already, but this helps ease the separation pain!
