Jackson and I are taking a little road trip home to Virginia today. We have a busy weekend in store for us! I have plans to see friends, want to spend some time with my mom and dad and I also want to get in some nice runs in my old hometown. Remember when I used to run in Virginia every day?
My two most important plans for the weekend are:
1) BFF Michele’s Bridal Shower
2) Get things in order for my engagement party next weekend
Whenever I am home my mom and I are always running around like crazy because I am usually only there for a Saturday, but since I am going home early today we have part of today, all tomorrow and some time on Saturday and Sunday to get things done.
I am pretty much kidnapping Jackson on this trip with me. Fiance wants me to leave him at home in Philly with him to keep him company, but I want to take him home with me to see my parents. And I pretty much just want him with me all the time.
I think this means we need a Jackson clone so he can be in 2 places at once. Either that or another puppy!
Jackson and I will miss Philly this weekend, but we are excited for our long weekend in Virginia! I’ll soon be blogging from down ‘South,’ talk to you soon!

Oh man I hope the traffic down to VA isn't too horrible! I am going down next Friday and am already dreading it! I think you should get a second puppy :0
Can't wait to see you and Jackson for a few days! Yeah!! Back in VIRGINIA! Maybe when you get a bigger place with some yard, then a second puppy. You just can't clone Jacksi Boy! Missy and Cookie are looking forward to seeing Jackson, Snope also!
Where are you from in Virginia? I am a newbie follower…sorry. I used to spend every summer near Fredricksburg as a kid. I sure do miss it.
