It’s Shower Time!

Yesterday was the big shower for BFF Michele! Check out the adorable invitations that were sent out! I love the colors!

My mom and I got all decked out to attend the party.

 

The party was at Sweetwater Tavern in Centreville, VA. It’s part of the Great American Restaurant chain, which is awesome.

When we walked into where the party was taking place, we were drawn to the centerpiece of the party – this awesome martini glass cake. How cute and colorful is this??

There were also adorable menu cards at each table.

Here is a picture before the party started of the bride to be and some of her bridesmaids. It was so awesome that it turned out to be such a beautiful day! It was a little windy but everyone was still able to bust out their cute spring-ware!

There were a bunch of appetizers that were brought to the table to share. There were lots of good and tasty eats to enjoy!

 

Everyone had a great time chatting away and enjoying the food.

The bride had a ton of presents to open! Before we tackled the presents we played a fun game –

How Well Do You Know Michele? 

Obviously being the Maid of Honor, I won that game! 🙂

Me, Michelle and Michele (the bride to be!). We have been friends since high school. I love these ladies.  

Before we opened the presents, it was time for dessert – fruit tart!

Then the bride to be, sat down to open all her goodies!

 

Being the MOH, I was in charge of making the ribbon bouquet for the rehearsal, so I got to sit next to Michele while she opened the presents.

At first I didn’t know what I was doing or how to make the bouquet, but after a few presents, I got the hang of it!

Michele got some awesome gifts!

  After all the presents were opened, the other Michelle helped me complete the bouquet. It was hard work, but I think my creation turned out pretty well!

The bride loved all her presents and her ribbon bouquet!

BFF’s since 1st grade, both brides to be! I love it!

Oops! I forgot about another fun game that was played – Bridal Present Bingo! This was played while I was helping with the ribbons, but I didn’t get to play. It looked like fun though!

It was a fun party, I hope the bride had a blast, but my fun with these girls, didn’t stop here, stay tuned for another post about my fun evening with two of my favorite ladies!
