Yesterday after the first part of our Pre-Cana experience and an early dinner at Gullifty’s, fiancé and I headed back to Villanova for a little walk around campus before our next appointment.
It was a beautiful day and the church was just gorgeous.
I can’t tell you how excited I am for our wedding here.
Clearly we had to take some more pictures.
We got a good one of us in front of the Church just like we did the last time we were here with our mom’s, but this time the sky looks so much better. Check out how blue it is!
Then I decided I wanted to get some fun pictures too.
My goal was to get some good jumping pictures with the church in the background. Check out what I ended up with:
They turned out pretty funny! I like them! This is why I ALWAYS carry my SLR with me, for emergency pictures just like that! 🙂
Did I mention how amazingly beautiful the sky was?? It makes the church just pop! Fingers crossed our wedding day is this beautiful!
Fiancé wasn’t as energetic in front of the church as I was, but I snapped some pictures of him taking in the scenery.
After our fun in front of the church, we strolled around our old stomping ground for a bit.
In the center of campus is this statue, we call it the Oreo, can you guess why?
I popped up there for a picture. Obviously I was very picture happy on campus!
Here I am singing the Villanova fight song!
“V” for Villanova, “V” for Victory!
Fiancé and I had some fun walking around. Its amazing how some things change, but others will always be the same.
Villanova has such a beautiful campus.
Have you ever been there?
After our little stroll, we headed inside the church for a workshop on the music for our wedding. About half the couples from the Pre-Cana workshop were there, so it was pretty packed.
We got to listen to a bunch of different song choices for various parts of the mass as well as hear different instruments. We also have 2 singers to choose from, so we have lots of choices to make!
We still have loads of time before the wedding, but I want to finalize some of this stuff now while the music is fresh in our minds. Plus it will be one less thing to worry about as it gets closer to the big day!
Do you have any musical suggestions for me?
By the time we were finished it was dusk out.
The sky was pretty much still rocking my world.
Seriously, how gorg is this?!
I’m sorry for the mass amounts of Villanova pictures, I just love the beauty of this place, and I can’t wait to start my life with fiancé as a married couple here!
Stay tuned for more Pre-Cana fun!

So excited for your wedding to happen here – you and fiance are so lucky to be married at such a beautiful church. And the sky, WOW!
I'm so happy I found your blog! I've been searching for some philly blogs for a bit. Your pics of the church at villanova are beautiful – I hope your big day is just as wonderful. I'll be starting graduate school at nova actually in May – I feel so lucky to be going to a school with such a beautiful campus.
Hi Leslie! I actually went to hs down the street from nova–at Agnes Irwin (on ithan ave)! It's the prettiest area ever–yay for getting married there!

Haha my sis is a Junior at Villanova and she wants to put her name on the wait list now to get married at the church there, even though she's nowhere near ready to get married. I've been a bunch of times it really is a beautiful campus.
