Wow! It has been a crazy long day. We have been up since 8 am running around like crazy people. Our little foursome did two of the Disney parks today! In this post, I’’ll share with you some of our Animal Kingdom experiences!
The day started off bright and early. We got up and were ready to catch our shuttle to the parks. I started off my day with some oatmeal and tea. Bringing this oatmeal for breakfast was one of the smartest things I packed. All you do is add some hot water, and you are good to go! It held me over for a while and I didn’t have to buy breakfast! Win!
One short shuttle ride later and we were ready to hit the park! I tried to stay hydrated all day, so I was always drinking water! Walking around all day takes a lot out of you, and I still want to have a good race on Sunday, so I’m trying to take it somewhat easy.
Lots of water!
All the girls! Left to right – Me, Michele, Jen and Ashley
I love the tree of life.
Me and Michele – Best friends since kindergarten, both brides to be, and both each other’s maid of honor! Yay for best friends!
The girls with Minnie Mouse! I love this picture!
There are only a few main rides at Animal Kingdom. First we hit up Dinosaur. I love this ride. It’s always so fun, and I always get scared! I was holding on to Michele for dear life!
We were all scared of the dinos! Such a funny picture!
PS – How cute is this shirt? I kind of wanted it!
And then we headed to Asia. We had our sights set on Everest!
Yes I am that crazy girl that takes her camera everywhere – races, rollercoaster’s – It is always attached to my hand and ready to point and shoot at any moment’s notice! I love this picture of the ride on Expedition Everest. This was a fun ride!
We had a blast!
My favorite ride at Animal Kingdom would have to be the Safari ride.
We got to see lots of animals. It was very entertaining.
***Side Note – Whoever can tell me what’s ‘funny’ with this picture first will get a present from me from Disney! It’s tricky! Leave a comment below***
After a few good rides we decided it was time for lunch. And since we are all on vacation we decided to have beers with our lunch! I enjoyed this Safari brew. It was delish!
And yes that is 22 ounces. You know how I roll.
I snacked on some bars throughout the day and didn’t want to drop too much cash on lunch, so I ended up getting a bowl of jasmine rice with chili sauce. It hit the spot!
Check out my fortune! I hope this will bring me good luck on Sunday!
Stay tuned for more on our journey to Epcot!!

I'm glad you're having a great time at Disney. It sounds like a great girls' weekend.
I don't think there's anything "wrong" with the picture…it's more like something is X-rated. That, or the elephant has five legs.
I love your frugal approach to eating at Disney. I've never been but I bet menu prices kill.
haha thats a naughty picture.
HAHA definitely a dirty picture!
Wow, is that really Elephant dong!?! lol! I guess some people/animals aren't just bragging with the extra leg comment!
That Everest ride looks scary, where are those tracks going? Good girl being frugal!
hahahahhaahah too bad I can't be first and win the prize. Looks like you had an awesome trip though!
