** I am still on vacation, but here is a little post I prepared for the coffee and tea lovers out there**
I was recently asked by my nutty friend Jenny how I take my coffee. I thought it was an interesting question because I never really think about all the different ways everyone drinks their coffee. So I figured I would share my coffee (and tea) ways with the blog world.
It all starts with a little kettle.
I am a massive fan of the French press. There isn’t really any words to describe it, but its so easy with no filter and its quick. It also is lots smaller than most coffee makers ( in my opinion) I just enjoy French pressing my cup ‘o joe in the morning!
I also enjoy my coffee with ‘milk’ and ‘sugar’ – I try to add almond milk and stevia whenever possible. I don’t miss real sugar at all. It seriously tastes the same to me. Fiancé enjoys real milk and real sugar with his coffee.
I love pouring the French press after I push the strainer down.
Mmmm…heaven.
I love enjoying my cup while blog reading in the morning. Its the perfect way to start my day.
Iced coffee is also a favorite past time of mine. I kind of actually prefer it to hot coffee, not sure why. Maybe its the ice.
I must admit though, I am not an avid coffee drinker. I have it from time to time, but I try to make a point NOT to have it on a daily basis. I really don’t want to be addicted to the caffeine. I know its a hard thing to wean yourself off from, so I only have it once a week.
My true love is tea.
Iced, hot, green, black, all the teas are so beautiful! I store my teas in this awesome container I got a while back. It makes life easier when I am trying to find something special.
Too many brands to count in my little tea box. I have some Yogi Tea, Mighty Leaf, Tazo, Oregon Chai and lots more!
I do enjoy a mean cup of hot chocolate now and then too! Who doesn’t like hot coco?? Tis the season!
Are you a coffee or tea drinker?
What are your favorite brands?

Humm…I like both. 🙂 For coffee, it's lattes all the way! I drink tea more though, as at my age coffee isn't exactly what I want to be loading up on.
I go through cycles of drinking coffee and tea right now I am obsessed with tea. I feel like I need to purchase a good tea storage box now. Mine are scattered in containers through out my kitchen. Any suggestions on where to buy a good one?
ah I have been waiting anxiously for this post 🙂 thanks girlfriend!!
I'm the same way .. I try not to drink coffee unless I'm really dragging. Usually 3 days a week for me, otherwise – I'm all about tea 🙂
My problem with the french press is I always get grounds in the bottom of my cup which grosses me out. Does this happen to you?
I am a total coffee drinker. I'm trying to drink tea when I can (I love yerba mate and acai).
And I also love my French Press!
