Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

I woke up this morning and Philadelphia is covered in a blanket of snow. I love it! My work for Saturday morning was cancelled, which was exciting, so I have the whole day to frolic in the snow with Jackson. I am super excited.

I took Jackson out in the morning and he loved playing in the snow. He is a total snow puppy. He made a little yellow snow and then ran around sniffing all the pretty white flakes.

  

I took him out this morning and he was shaking in the cold, so OBVIOUSLY he needed his winter coat.

He loved wandering about in the snow.

 

These pics were taken a few hours ago, and the snow was already up to Jacksons little knees and its currently coming down harder now. Philadelphia is supposed to get lots of snow all day today!

After our little frolic in the snow I knew it was time to make some nice warm pancakes. After 10+ days I am still rocking my Only The Essentials Challenge. No trips to the grocery store for 2 weeks (and counting) for me! I had some FlaxMatters pancake mix in the pantry and decided to whip up a batch!

 

Obviously I had to add some chocolate chips to the batch! Check out my other pancake creations here and here. I love me some pancakes!

The pancakes came with a side of his and hers tea/hot coco. I tried out the Peppermint Lane tea that Sabrina gave me!

Yay for a fabulously warm breakfast on this snowy morning.

How do you eat your pancakes? I cut all mine up at once and then go from there, but I realize its not the prettiest way to eat them, but that’s how I roll. What about you?
