The Terror Behind the Walls

After our Halloween Party on Friday, our little group headed down to check out the Terror Behind The Walls at Eastern State Penitentiary. Our tickets were for us to head into the prison between 10:00-10:30 but we got down to the city early for dinner/drinks and celebrations! Cheers to everyone’s life changes!

Check out the Halloween decor at Urban Saloon. I love the candy corn mixed in with the candle! Such a cute touch! I started off with a beer. I told boyf I wanted “something pumpkin” and that’s what I got

It was really dark inside. We totally couldn’t even read the menu!

Literally the only light the table had was the candle’s glow! (and my camera flash going off every 5 seconds)

Boyf and I split the crab cake sliders (which were awesome!) – they came with tater tots (which was random)

Congrats to Noodles and Kate who are moving into together and getting a Jackson 2.0! Yay for new apartments and puppies!  🙂

The actual tour is about 30 minutes. You walk through the prison and all these scary people jump out at you and scare the crap out of you. I like getting scared like that! I think its fun, and Halloween is right around the corner. The prison itself is so eerie and lots of crazy stuff has gone on behind the prison walls when it was up and running, you can’t help but think of ghosts and spirits and hauntings that have occurred! I am always just so impressed with the people that come and volunteer to be the ‘inmates,’ they are always so dedicated and having such a great time.

Check out this dude who has a actual hole in his chest.  Craziness.

A good time was had by all! I love my Philly friends!
