Don’t be fooled by the title, boyf and I haven’t even had our FIRST honeymoon yet, and we certainly aren’t planning our second honeymoon. I am talking all about nail polish color kids!
Today I went and got my nails did! I am going home to see my parents tomorrow and I want my ring to look fabulous against my pretty nails! I had a little creativity in my nail polish selection today. I had the lady put a base coat on of Essie’s Fiji and then I had her go over it in OPI’s Second Honeymoon. I wanted the pink to be a little shinier than the Fiji, but the Second Honeymoon doesn’t give the color enough of a pop, which is why I combined the two!
Anyone else out there get a little creative with your nail color combinations??
I didn’t want to get a dark color that I would have to maintain and you would totally be able to tell if it chipped. I hate that!

I love Essie and OPI. The names are so much fun, and as you can tell, I pretty much pick nail polish colors based on their fun names! HA!

i always love painting my nails bright bright pink or black. opposite ends of the spectrum but oh well 🙂 love your nails!
Oh! I can't wait for the day when I get to go have a manicure with my new ring! Someday. How fun that will be to show off your ring to everyone. That's so funny, I would do the same thing. I think your nails are almost as pretty as your gorgeous ring! Hope you have a great time showing it off!
I love Fiji! The colors combined look great on you, although I always think about how when I have an engagement ring, I am going for the permanent french!
I'm a pink polish lover too. I usually pick some shade of pink or purple. I did my nails today with a purple polish called Fruit Punch, it's from Revlon, and when it dries, it smells like fruit punch.
