The stars all aligned today and after my camera debacle last week I was able to pick out a new camera! I was in shock for many reasons a) I was so surprised it all worked out, because honestly, how often do things work out for you?? b) It was like Christmas for me!! I LOVE picking out new cameras and phones. They are two of my favorite things to shop for. I use my phone and my camera everyday religiously (obviously), so I go through them every 2 years or so. It’s so fun picking out new ones!
I started off in the picture taking world with the Canon PowerShot SD300 and worked my way to the Canon PowerShot SD 1100. Man that SD300 has seen better days!! People use a case!! I think I had another PowerShot in the mix too, but it is no longer with us.
Today, since they no longer make the SD1100 I was able to upgrade for free to the PowerShot 1200! I am in LOOOOVE!
It is way sleeker, smaller and is obviously a better version than the SD1100. I did just get the SD1100 at Christmas time this past year, so I had only had it for 9 months. This time, it paid to have the protection plan!
Drool! I can’t wait to use this baby! How pretty is it?!
The only thing I had to purchase was a new case. Since this Canon is smaller than my last one, I didn’t want the camera wiggling around, so I figured it was $10.00 well spent!
Other than my Nikon D40 SLR I am very loyal to the Canon PowerShot Elph! I literally won’t buy any other camera. I won’t even look, I just love this one so much!
What is your camera brand of choice?

Congrats on your new camera. More pretty pictures for us. Yay. I love Cannon cameras, so user friendly.
Ooh pretty camera!
I have a Nikon D80 SLR and I love it. Actually my husband and I each have our own because we're terrible at sharing.
Because I love that Nikon so much, I thought I'd love the Nikon point and shoot… but it is TERRIBLE!
I'm always on the lookout for a new point and shoot so thanks for the review! I might have to check out your camera.
