Thanks so much for all your well wishes yesterday after my 35 shot fiasco. My arm is STILL swollen and itches. So weird! I got up to Philly last night. Getting ready for my big quarter century birthday weekend starting tonight. Not really. We are going to Avalon for a long weekend, nothing too crazy, keeping it somewhat low key.
Erin Baker’s sent me 4 samples to test out and I had to tell my reader’s all about it because it is fabulous! I got to try out 2 granola’s and 2 breakfast cookies. I love taste tests!
First, I tried out the Homestyle Peanut Butter Granola. It was so good. I loved the hint of peanut butter. It was really tasty. I enjoyed it in my morning yogurt. There were big chunks of peanut buttery granola bits in every bite!
Second I tried the Homestyle Fruit & Nut granola . It was just as good as the Peanut Butter, only maybe a little better. This granola is loaded with walnut halves, plump cranberries and raisins with a hint of honey and toasted coconut.
Next up, were the breakfast cookies! First was Oatmeal Raisin. I love this flavor combination. It’s simply fabulous! Seriously, the cookie was so chewy and moist and delicious! Yum Yum Yum!
Next up was the Double Chocolate Chunk breakfast cookie. Again, it had the same fresh flavor as the oatmeal raisin, but a little too much chocolate for me. I am not usually a fan of double chocolate, white chocolate, or dark chocolate. I like regular and milk chocolate all the way!! I put both the breakfast cookies in with yogurt and it was such a treat. I really enjoyed them. The strawberry yogurt toned down the double chocolaty-ness and I liked it much better than plain!
Thank you Erin’s Bakers! I loved testing out all your fabulous treats! Well, I am off to take on my last day as a 24 year old…wah wah.. Beaching it later today! I am so pumped for the long weekend!
Happy Birthday Jenna!
