Last night Mich and I were wiped out after a day full of shopping and a nice relaxing dinner, so we decided to hang out last night and watch a movie (or two). We started with Made of Honor, with Patrick Dempsey <swoon> and then watched Twilight, with Cam Gigandet <double swoon>. Mich had never seen either of those movies, so I was excited to see what she thought. Also, she has apparently been living under a rock, because other than ‘I think Twilight has something to do with Vampires,’ she had no background of the story. I kept my mouth shut throughout the movie because I wanted to see what she thought.
During our double feature movie night, we obviously had some snacks. I brought with me some Sonny & Joe’s Hot Enough Hummus. Remember when they sent me 7 different types of hummus? Yea, I am still working on those!
This hummus was H-O-T..HOT! And we totally loved it. I mixed around the hot peppers, with the rest of the hummus and it was totally a spicy fiesta in my mouth! Very fiery, but muy tasty!
Remember when Kashi sent me all those fun products to try? Yea, I am still working on those as well! I brought with me to the beach the TLC Fire-Roasted Vegetable crackers.
These crackers are made of red and green bell peppers, tomatoes, carrots, and onions all roasted together! Perfect pairing with the hummus. They were really good. I love the size of the cracker, they are great for dipping, and is packed with a lot of flavor!
On the way home from dinner last night, we stopped at the liquor store to pick up some drinks for movie night. They had a little tasting going on, so I decided to try out some new things. I have been reading a lot about the Sweet Tea Vodka, and I have been wanting to try it, and it was there to test at the tasting, so I am pretty sure it was meant to be!
I love sweet tea. Total southern girl thing. When I was looking at colleges, part of me REALLY wanted to go to school down south because they all were stocked with sweet tea. It may or may not have been on my pro/con list for schools that my dad made me write. Also on there, may have been Greek life and a football team! Hey, I knew what was important to me in deciding where I wanted to go to school.
Anywho, I loved this vodka. Firefly Sweet Tea totally hit the spot. When you drink it down, it tastes like sweet tea with a little aftertaste of vodka. They have tons of flavors, and you better believe I am going to be trying the Raspberry one too! I may make this my official birthday drink for next weekend!
Here are our drinks concoctions from last night. I had my Sweet Tea. I put half the vodka in the cup and half water with some ice. 70 proof baby! Mich had some plain vodka with cranberry and a splash of o.j. I think that is called something fancy, maybe a vodka sunrise?
It was a fun night with great snacks and fabulous cocktails! Yay for girls beach weekend!

sounds like a fun night!
I like to mix the sweet tea vodka with crystal light lemonade and a few fresh mint leaves– so tasty., let me know if you try it!
Haha wow, I can't believe she didn't know about Twilight! Glad you had so much fun. Have a lovely Saturday 🙂
I have to say, without reading any of the books (and yes, I realize that I have been living under a rock BUT its called "I do read books daily, however they are more towards 7-8 year olds—anyone else in the ‘blog world’ read Magic School Bus, Magic Tree House, Horrible Harry, Nate the Great, A-Z Mysteries series lately??) I was EASILY able to pick-up on the sequel….Werewolves vs. Vampires? I win!
Overall, the movie was ok (I am sure the book was WAY better—always is).
