St. Patty’s Day Eats

This St. Patrick’s Day was a nice one. I do miss the celebrations I used to partake in during the good ol’ College days, but this year it was filled with good food, drinks and family. Since my brother is home from college for spring break, we headed out to a restaurant of his choosing: Sakura Japanese Steakhouse. Yum! This place is definitely a family favorite. We go here all the time.

Usually I have my own meal, but since I have been working to loose a few pounds, and I wasn’t too hungry to begin with, my mom and I split the chicken and shrimp combo. Such a smart move because they give you SOOOOO much food at this place.

Everyone starts out with miso soup and a salad:

Lots of veggies!

Fried rice being made! So sinfully delicious!

Little Shrimpies!!

Chicken, steak, scallops and Japanese spaghetti

My place is jam packed! And remember, this is SPLITTING a regular meal.

I even had leftovers, which I will have for part of my lunch tomorrow. So good!

Sprouts=Japanese spaghetti. Love it! Who needs shepard’s pie and soda bread; you’ve got Japanese that looks just as good.
