I was so beyond pumped when boyf found out that Xavier Rudd was playing in Philly this past Saturday night. I have loved Xavier Rudd since I studied abroad in Australia for 8 months, and it was so amazing to get to see him live in concert at the Theater of the Living Arts. Rudd is “a one-man-band/multi-instrumentalist who plays guitars, Yidaki (didgeridoos), Weissenborn slide guitars, stomp box, harmonica, and percussion.” It was craziness to see him perform and do the didgeridoo and the slide guitar among other things. Amazing concert! It was also cool to see him in his full time barefooter mode, as he claims he doesn’t own or wear footwear.
